The North Central Florida Regional Planning Council (NCFRPC) approached me to assist with a critical website crisis after the unexpected passing of their previous web manager. Their existing site, developed in the early 1990s using Dreamweaver CS3, was outdated, non-ADA compliant, and plagued with navigational issues.

My task was to modernize this essential online resource, ensuring it met current accessibility standards and provided an intuitive user experience for both employees and stakeholders across the 12 counties and 40 municipalities the NCFRPC serves.
Starting with a complete audit of the existing site, I mapped out an organized navigation system that streamlined access to vital information. I then transitioned the website to WordPress, creating a modern and adaptable platform that the Council could easily maintain. The design now reflects a professional aesthetic that aligns with the Council’s mission to promote regional strategies and strengthen economic competitiveness in North Central Florida.
While the site is still evolving, the new design has vastly improved functionality, enabling users to quickly find the information they need and fostering efficient collaboration between employees, committees, and community members.
